At West Exe School we believe in high expectations and achievement for all. Work completed in lessons during the school day and homework are both important in ensuring that high standards are reached. In an increasingly competitive world it is important that we maximise all opportunities for learning and academic success.
Show My Homework
Ever wanted to know just what homework really has been set for your child?! Now, you simply have to click on the ShowMyHomework icon at the bottom of our school website homepage. From here you can filter by class, teacher, subject and year group to see details of the work set and the date it is due in. Parent logins (which will provide you access to your own account to see the homework set for your child) will be sent out in the coming weeks.
We ask that parents/carers look at planners on a weekly basis as well as veiwing homeowrk via Show my Homework, and use the opportunity to discuss their child’s learning with him/her. Tutors in all year teams are expected to monitor and sign planners on a fortnightly basis. Any concerns regarding homework can be recorded in the planners so that parents/carers and teachers can work in partnership to iron out any difficulties.
