School Closed - Friday 2nd March

Dear parent/carer

As the weather conditions we are currently experiencing are as predicted, and with a red warning in place from the MET Office for overnight that will make any travel to and from the school site in the morning extremely hazardous, we have taken the decision to close the school tomorrow. The safety of staff and students is our number one priority and we do not feel that with the extreme weather we are experiencing today that conditions will have improved by tomorrow.

We realise that it is an inconvenience to have the school closed and can only apologise. However, by letting you know now, we hope that it will give you time to make alternative arrangements.

Please continue to watch the school website and our Facebook page for updates. We would hope, having looked at the forecast for the weekend, that school will be open again on Monday morning.  Please assume that the School will be open unless you hear otherwise.  As before, we will inform you by 7.30am on Monday morning, should the School be closed

Thank you for your continued support.
