The students were very keen last year to spend a night at the beach and there is a suitable and affordable campsite just above the beach (no additional travel required).
The students would need to provide their own sleeping-bags and possibly tents but the campsite is planning to open a camping barn in time for next summer, tbc.
The cost would include an evening meal out at a nearby holiday park restaurant (in Challaborough – pizzas, fish and chips, etc.) and breakfast the next day.
The camping students would go straight from the campsite to the beach Thursday morning and then everyone returns to Exeter on the Thursday afternoon.
If enthusiasm for camping is high, the whole trip will participate in the camping night, it is great value and a brilliant experience.
