Weather update

Dear Parent/Carer,

Based on current forecasts we are looking forward to welcoming all students back on Monday. Thank you for your patience and understanding this week.

We hope everyone has kept safe and well in the past two days, whilst also enjoying some of the excitement of the snow.

Due to the School being closed this week, we thought it would be helpful to confirm some of the events happening next week:

Monday, 5 March

· GCSE PE Practical Mock exam will continue as planned

· Year 8 Options Evening 5.30 – 6.30pm

· Year 7 basketball Tournament at St James 3.30 – 5.30pm

Tuesday, 6 March

· Year 11 BTEC Music Concert in the Main Hall 4 – 5pm

· Year 9 Devon Cup game (football) vs Ottery St Mary (away)

· Year 10 Devon Cup game (football) vs Brixham (home) 2.30pm start

Wednesday, 7 March

· World Book Day celebrations All day

· U16 Southern Conference Basketball Tournament @ WES 3.10pm start

Thursday, 8 March

· U15 and U14 Exeter & East Devon Rugby 7’s @ Blundells (away)

· Year 7 End of Season netball Tournament @ Okehampton (away)

· Climbing Club will go ahead, as arranged, at the Quay

For those Year 11s who were due to have mock exams, further details of how these will be completed will be sent out on Monday. Any meetings with parents/carers, which have been cancelled due to the closure, will be rescheduled by the member of staff who organised it as soon as possible next week.

Whilst we are anticipating the School being open on Monday, if forecasts or circumstances change and the School needs to be closed you will be contacted by 7.30am on Monday morning. Should your child be unable to make their way safely to School on Monday, please inform us by using the usual absence procedures.
