West Exe School has a duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of our students. We create and maintain a safe learning environment for our children and young people, and we identify where there are child welfare concerns and take action to address them we do this in partnership with other organizations where appropriate. The welfare of our children is paramount regardless of age, gender, ability, culture, race, language, religion or sexual identity, have equal rights to protection. All of our staff have an equal responsibility to act on any suspicion or disclosure that may suggest a child is at risk of harm.
All of our students and staff who may be involved in child protection issues will receive appropriate support from our dedicated Safeguarding Team.
