At West Exe School we hope to provide students with opportunities to shine, through excellent teaching and innovative practice, a vibrant and rich extracurricular provision and a curriculum that challenges and inspires from the start of Year 7 and is increasingly personalised as students move up through the School.   Although we understand there are still things we need to improve to achieve this aim, West Exe is already a vibrant School with so many wonderful things going on; Ten Tors and DofE; a wide variety of sports clubs including climbing, netball, cricket, football, tennis, rounders and basketball; opportunities to take part in the UK Maths Challenge; and the Model United Nations team, to name only a few of the enrichment activities on offer.

We want to develop a common language to celebrate this and to find the right words to encapsulate our hopes for the future.  As part of this process we would welcome your input.

The survey below will only take a few minutes to complete and answers do not need to be overly formal (please choose the survey most relevant to your connection with the School):

Year 7 – 10 Parent Survey

Year 6 Parent Survey

Governors Survey

Community Survey

Student Tutor Group Survey

If you would like a hard copy, please feel free to pick one up from Reception or contact Tamsin Partridge at , who will organise one to be emailed or posted to you.

If you have any questions regarding the surveys or would like further involvement in the process, please do not hesitate to contact Tamsin at the above address.

Once all the surveys from parents, staff, students, Governors and the wider community have been gathered and a common language has been found, then Vision and Values documents will be drafted.   These will be sent to all parents, students, Governors and members of the community to review during the week beginning the 26 June.

Thank you in advance for any time you are able to provide to support us with this process.
