In 2023 80% of our students left West Exe achieving a grade 4 or better in BOTH English and Mathematics.

Summer 2023 results

At West Exe we are hugely proud of each of our students and their achievements. 

• 80% of our students achieved a grade 4 in both English and Maths 
• 58% of our students achieved a grade 5 in both English and Maths
• 22% of our students achieved a grade 7 or higher across all subjects
• 60% of our achieved a grade 5 or higher across all subjects. 

With a Progress 8 score of +0.42, West Exe is an "above average" secondary school. 

I achieved better results in my GCSEs than I expected, and I am now studying A levels and want to go on to university. West Exe has inspired me to want to become a secondary school teacher so I can help young people achieve their goals.
