At West Exe we believe that providing our learners with a broad and balanced curriculum should be at the heart of what we do.  We believe that every student should continue to learn English, Maths, Science, Languages, Geography and History until the end of Year 9 and ensure that our learners are provided with every opportunity to be the best they can be to ensure success. 

Our Year 8 Choices program is an exciting opportunity for learners to start considering what subjects they would like to specialise in up to GCSE. With our expertise and guidance, our learners should liaise with parents, carers and families to make informed decisions about which Choices they make. Our curriculum has been developed to provide our learners with rigorous, exciting and challenging courses that successfully prepare them for post 16 study.

At West Exe we are committed to reducing all barriers to learning, so that every child succeeds. If you are concerned about the financial implications of particular curriculum choices there may be support available depending on your circumstances through the West Exe Bursary.
